Corn

Corn is the basis for the energy supply of poultry, pigs and cattle, as well as being used for human consumption. Corn plays a fundamental role in our crop rotation, as it produces a large amount of straw that helps protect the soil, recycle nutrients and increase organic matter in the soil.

Agricultural Planning

Input planning takes into account the expected production for each sowing season, aiming to obtain the best cost/benefit, and decisions about the hybrids that will be planted are made based on our research database and according to the biotechnologies identified as necessary for the production system.

Preparation, sowing and management

The direct seeding system represents 100% of the area cultivated with corn, which is sown immediately after the soybean harvest. The management practices carried out on corn depend on the expected production for each crop and the monitoring of pests and diseases, which makes it possible to direct efforts and carry out management in a rational manner.

Harvest

On each farm, the harvest must be staggered according to the cycle of each cultivar, which allows harvesting at the ideal point of ripeness.

Processing and storage

The corn processing and storage process is carried out by other companies, starting with receipt at the warehouse, followed by pre-cleaning of the grain, drying, storage and subsequent dispatch of the stored grain.
